My ds freezes? (should I get a new one?)?

I wouldn't get a new one if I were you. Unless you just want to go ahead and pop out some cash and buy the 3DS. Which, in that case go for it. If I were you, I would take the DS to Best Buy or Gamestop and let them take a look at it. Explain what is happening and maybe they can fix it. If neither place can do anything for it, the choice is yours. I hope this helps. :)
