My dad told me that my boyfriend and I will never work out?

Parents always know what is good and what is not good for their kids no matter what. Perhaps they know something about your bf that they don't like about. If they control your life it is because they want the best for you and they don't want anything bad to happen to you through your life. That is why they are always behind everything you do. One day you will regret this and you will understand why your parents are always in your way. They do it because they love you and they don't like for you to be with people that aren't worth it nor for you to be doing things you're not supposed to.
