Curfew Warning in Texas: permanent record and parents?

When I was 17 I was caught after curfew and didn't have my ID on me. The cop took my name and birthday, and he told me this was a warning. This won't show up on my permanent record, right? Could my parents ever check up on my warnings to find out, or would the police have already sent them a notice about it?
